Our goal is to play with our friends and grow as a SUPERSTAR TEAM!

5V Stars Tournament

March 30th 2024 | Miramar Regional Park

Tournament Games will be played all day Saturday March 30th, from 8am to around 5 pm. Guaranteed 4 games. All teams will play 5v5 - The top 3 teams earn medals and have a chance to qualify to got to the Nationals in November of 2024.

About Coach Vega

Harnessing over 4 decades of soccer passion to ignite young talent and shape the future stars of soccer!

Over 40 years of personal soccer experience

With over 40 years of personal soccer experience, Coach Vega is the passionate driving force behind 3V Stars Soccer Academy. Born into a family where soccer is more than just a game, Vega’s love for the sport was inspired by his father, Vega Sr., a dedicated semi-pro player and coach in his youth. This deep-rooted passion for soccer has shaped Vega’s life and career, fueling his desire to inspire the next generation of soccer stars.

Raised in the vibrant soccer cultures of California and Florida, Vega spent his youth playing for elite travel teams, honing his skills, discipline, and understanding of the game. As a dynamic center forward striker, his exceptional performance on the field won him a scholarship to Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. His college coach, recognizing his potential, started him as a defender. This strategic move enhanced Vega’s comprehensive understanding of the game and deepened his realization that soccer is as much a mental game as it is physical.

Inspiration for the game

Welcome to 3V Stars Soccer Academy, a pioneering Soccer Training Institution located in Coral Springs/Parkland/Boca Raton, South Florida. Our unique 3v3 Training Program is at the heart of our coaching philosophy. Learning to accurately pass the ball to teammates is essential for teamwork and game strategy. It involves both short passes for close-range play and long passes for changing the direction of the game.

Shooting
The skill of shooting allows a player to convert opportunities into goals. It combines power, accuracy, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Ball Control
Being able to receive and control the ball from various heights and speeds is crucial. Good ball control allows a player to keep possession and make effective plays.
Spatial Awareness

Teaching kids the basics of defending, including how to properly position themselves, tackle without fouling, and block shots, is vital. Good defense prevents opponents from making successful plays and scoring.
Heading
While less emphasized in the youngest age groups for safety reasons, heading is an important skill as kids grow older. It involves using the head to pass, clear, or shoot the ball, especially on set pieces like corners and free kicks.(Not recomended for kids under 12 yrs old)
Agility and Quickness
Soccer is a game of quick changes in direction and speed. Agility and quickness allow players to dodge opponents, make rapid direction changes while dribbling, and react swiftly to game situations.
Endurance and Physical Fitness
Soccer requires a high level of stamina and physical fitness. Building endurance helps young players maintain their energy levels throughout the game, ensuring they can perform their best from start to finish.
Teamwork and Communication
Understanding the importance of working as a unit and effectively communicating on the field are crucial. Players must learn to support their teammates, call for passes, and work together to execute game strategies successfully.
